Preparation and Review of the OCP/SEDP Structured Interview Package
The first step of this journey to the next echelon involves the preparation and submission of your Structured Interview Package (SIP). The ability to portray your experiences at the right level in a structured fashion is crucial to being invited to the Board. The SIP package is also the first impression Board members will have of a candidate and we all know what they say about first impressions. The vast majority of the experiences (examples) that are found in your package will be those that you will be presenting orally to your Board so it is extremely important to ensure that these are well structured and relevant Candidates who choose to work with me will be mentored and coached on how to:
- Mine for relevant examples;
- Draft their document using the STARE technique effectively;
- Highlight the issues;
- Raise their examples to the right level;
- Demonstrate their ability to be strategic in every example;
- Think like an executive;
- Stay focused on the competency and its anchors;
